Kempton Anna

Anna, a British/Hungarian cellist, studied at Mozarteum University in Salzburg and at the Royal College of Music in London, where she gained a master’s in performance. Whilst in London she was the principal cellist with the Royal Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, alongside teaching at the North London Conservatoire. Her philosophy for education centres on developing connections with her students to create a comfortable, trusting space for playing and learning. She believes that a good technical grounding is important for achieving full expressive potential and truly satisfying musical experiences, and aims to instil lifelong respect and love for music in her students.
